Join me for a relaxed, hands-on introduction to flower pressing, designed for beginners.
We’ll begin the morning with Aiko Matcha, who will share a little about matcha and prepare a matcha for you to enjoy as we settle into our flower pressing workshop.
From there, I’ll guide you through the foundations of flower pressing, including how to select and prepare different flowers and foliage, and the different techniques I use to press them successfully. You’ll have the opportunity to work hands-on with a variety of flowers while I share tips and knowledge from my own years of working with pressed flowers.
This workshop is about slowing down, working with your hands and enjoying the process of learning something new. You’ll leave with the flowers you’ve pressed, plus the knowledge and confidence to keep pressing flowers at home.
No previous experience is needed. All flowers and materials will be provided, along with a matcha to enjoy during the workshop.
